Jordan Sheridan (b. 1989, Northeastern Arkansas) is an installation artist and painter based in South Carolina. She became a mother in 2017 and began pursuing her MFA at the University of South Carolina shortly thereafter. The intersection of early motherhood and graduate study catalyzed a significant shift in her practice, moving from primarily two-dimensional painting into large-scale textile and mixed-media installations.

Sheridan’s multidisciplinary practice explores interconnectedness, permeability, and the shifting boundaries between body, environment, identity, and material. Working across painting, sculpture, textiles, glass, and installation, she creates immersive environments that consider states of transformation, containment, expansion, and flux. Her practice has expanded toward broader questions of interdependence and the ways individual experience exists within larger networks of relationship.

She lives and works in Columbia, South Carolina.
